We decided on buying a Mercedes Sprinter long wheel base. They have a good record for reliability and a reputation for effortless cruising on the motorway. We bought a high mileage, white, 2 year old 313 with a safety bar on the back. The 313 came with traction control as standard and at the time, was the quickest vehicle we owned. When empty, this thing shifted.
